Designing for Specific Users 2024

The development of technological interventions has been influenced for long time by the values of very specific societies, implying the transmission of biases and the uniformity in design approaches. More and more, movements claiming for the representation of diverse perspectives, values and needs have been developed into theories and methods adopted by designers who strive to incorporate diversity, equity and inclusion in their projects.

In this project, lasting three months, the students of the 2nd year IDE Bachelor collaborated with external participants in order to represent different perspectives and needs, starting from one unique individual at the time.
